Nude Lips Forever

I know it's only January but I am so so sick of wearing dark lips, for me at the moment I am loving wearing a nude lip and so soon I will be waving goodbye to those deep purples and dark reds, and saying hello to brighter, lighter summer colours. Yes!! But for now, I wanted to talk about my all time fave nude lip colours.

Let’s start with the Kate Moss Long Lasting Lips in shade 03 (£5.49)… I mean am I obsessed and in love with the Kate Moss lipsticks? Plus you can probably tell by my images that I’ve owned it for the longest time as it really is on its last legs…but I won’t let it go! Always a winner.

Now onto Kiko Smart Lip Pencil in shade 700 (£1.50)... Before buying this I had never tried out Kiko makeup but I am madly in love with their products. It is perfect for defining your lip shape and has got a such a lovely warm tone to it. You can almost layer it up with any lippy and you're hardly breaking the bank with any Kiki products.

Next up is the Topshop lipstick in Naturist (£8)... I have been really impressed with the quality because I was a little sceptical about buying it but I would go as far as saying as it's that good I will definitely be investing in more from their range. It’s almost a nude, but with a slight purple tone to it. It’s soft, creamy and gives the perfect touch of colour.

Lastly, let’s talk about the Kiko Pencil Lip Gloss in shade 08 (£2.70)... This one is slightly lighter than the others, and again much has a super natural tone to it but leaves a slight shine and isn't matte. I find it perfect for if you want a lil hint of colour and shimmer when the sun is out, but nothing too OTT.

What's Currently In My Makeup Bag

ALOHAAAA! It feels like ages ago since I talked about my favourite go-to beauty products. So I decided what better way than to share my top items that I am lovingggg as my everyday face kinda picks. Some I've been using a little while and a fan of, others are recent purchases so I'm still getting the hang of them. Let's get straight into what;s currently in my makeup bag right now.

Have you used any of these?

Benefit Roller Lash (19.50): I love finding new mascaras at the moment, and this is been a favourite for a little while now. The comb style wand is perf!! It even helps you get right into those tiny corner lashes and splits lash so easily without it clumping together. If you’re wanting to try something new I would definitely recommend giving this one a go!

Sleek Makeup All Night Long (8.99): I have probably mentioned  that I love eyeshadows especially wearing goldy/coppers.…. well, here they are. I was bought this palette as a gift at Christmas, and I just find this the perfect pallet as it's super pigmented and the past month I've been using this everyday and its just absolute lushness.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (5.50): I am obsessed with all of the NYX lip cream creams. As much as I love the deep tones and dark,  a lot of the time I want a natural lip colour and the “I’m wearing nothing and still have healthy luscious lips” kinda look. I find this colour is perfect for the natural touch and for a simple everyday makeup look too.

Urban Decay Naked Concealer (17.50): I had been struggling to find the right concealer that has good coverage, and this concealer has been the best investment by far. It has good coverage, hides dark circles and blemishes. Ticks all the boxes for me.

TopShop Contour Wand (12.00): Before investing in the ABH contour kit I wanted to experiment with a contour stick to see if it would work and even though there is loads of drugstore contour wands, I had heard many reviews about TopShop and it really is as perfect as people make out!! It blends really well and is super easy to use as I'm no good at that fancy makeup contour thing.

Urban Decay Afterglow Powder Highlighter (19.00): I love nothing more than highlight that is glowing and is long lasting. This Urban Decay powder highlighter is just my utter fave! I have no words to describe how much I love it. I would definitley recommend it to any one who is wanting a highlight that is shimmery and faultless finish!!

Getting Fit and Healthy*

The other day I was sat looking through my archive to notice I've literally done no posts in regards to health or keeping fit. Can you tell I like to stick in my comfort zone of blogging, fashion and watching movies. I hardly focused on my health and fitness, I guess I kind of just took it for granted. However with this being a new year, I wanted to discuss what I am doing to keep healthy, fit and full of energy.

I have never really been that type of girl who enjoyed sports. The thought of PE in school was always a chore, I was the one who would spend her time down in the art department or in the drama studio practising for the school musical.

This year I made it one of my goals and aims to try (emphasis on try) get more exercise because I can't exactly class power walking up to the bus stop four times a week exercise plus with two potential summer holidays this year I want to be able to feel comfortable and confident with my body! Once I get back to uni in a week or so I'll be starting at the gym a few times a week and hopefully I'll begin to see a change with my confidence.

As for healthy eating I have already began to make food out of the 'Hungary Healthy Student Cook Book' I bought from Amazon for only £5.99. If I can master this cooking malarkey I may do the occasional food post because who doesn't love discovering new recipes that are super easy.

Finally, over the past month I have been working with a nutrition brand called Vitsnap* who are launching next week. I was offered the opportunity to select a few of products to try out. I decided to start my new beginnings with their Detox SnapPack...and so far its been amazing, I certainly feel better for it.

The vitamins come to you in handy sealed pods for each day, and deliveries are made every two weeks. If you sign up now at www.vitsnap.com and enter the code HANNAH50, you can get a subscription with 50% off before the service launches on the 12th January!!

Making Aims & Goals For The Year Ahead

Well, HELLO 2017!! HOW has another year passed ALREADY.

In today’s post I wanna talk about goals. Do you make them? Do you have some? What are they? How do you keep them? Help me keep mine…So soo many questions!

I feel it's good to have goals and aims set for the year ahead. There is the sense of accomplishment when you look at your original list made back in January at the end of the year and makes you more determined to set more challenging goals for the next year. And I’m gonna SET SOME. Some proppa ones this year...

These are ones I’ve written down for myself…

-Be kind, always kind, and then even kinder, you never, ever know what people are going through.

-Do more exercise, we all know it makes you feel better, mentally and physically, so to just push myself to do more of the stuff. Like I know I set this one each year and nothing ever really comes of it but maybe this year will be the year.

-Travel as much as I can. New cities in the UK and abroad. Just imagine how fun it would be and you can always create amazing memories on holiday with people you love. Plus blog about it for you guys.

-Take risks, okay, it might not feel comfortable, but stop worrying about everything. All. The. Time.

-Learn to actually use my camera. I mean, like, properly. Plus I would like to push myself a bit more and try some new things on here and experiment with my writing style, photography etc.
~

Those are my aims and goals for the next year, sorry if this post got a bit ramble in places but it's always good to share thoughts and ideas! Please let me know in the comments what your New Year’s Resolutions are…
